FAQs
What do you enjoy doing the best? Essentially it is about helping others to be (and do) the best they can.
What really will make the difference if I use your services? The time and dedication I can take in getting clarity about what could be done, and thus making the appropriate decisions on actions that will achieve your objectives.
Are you affiliated with others? Yes I have a broad professional network that I can call on. Until recently, I was a partner in a very successful boutique consultancy and I am now a sole operator with an extensive professional network in organisational and individual development.
What number of people do you work with ? From one to any number.
What piece of work are you most proud of ? There are many but a recent involvement in a leadership program for Chinese University Administrators conducted by the ANU was extremely rewarding. I designed and delivered (using an Interpreter) the three day component on leadership. The 35 students were engaged and felt they had learnt much that could be used in their respective institutions.
I am also proud of work that I have done with individuals who were retrenched as a result of the GFC. To observe how people come to terms with the shock, re-build their confidence, and win an even better job is truly a privelage.
How do arrange coaching? Contact me and we can decide the best way forward.
Surely I can take control of my own future and development? But of course, we all have to, and its a great help to talk through ideas and plans, and have someone there who is willing to listen to you, challenge where necessary and help with reflecting on progress and outcomes.
What do you think retirement is? My version of retirement is to remain busy whilst enjoying new adventures. I can never see myself doing “nothing”. By facing new challenges, learning new skills, sharing with others, giving to others is all important for me, to make my life memorable.
